Finding an Autobahn video on YouTube with a fix for an issue on my Jeep Wrangler I was impressed with the tech and the shop he was in. Looking it up I was surprised to see it was located close to me. I took the jeep there for some other repairs I wasn't capable of doing and found that the shop was very well organized, and a well run operation. I had the pleasure of dealing with Pedro from start to finish, best service I've ever hand at an independent shop. They sent me reports, estimates, and videos showing the issues found and keeping me informed of status the whole time. Work done quickly, price seemed reasonable and the repair was perfect. 20 + yrs in and they still are the best anywhere. This group stands above the rest in providing a quality experience and bar none the best service/mechanics in the business. I have yet to bring my car back after original service. They always diagnose properly, fix the issue and perform the work in a timely fashion. And it gets better I have to be gouged with their pricing. When I leave I have always felt the price was worth the work completed. Quality people and work can be hard to find and when you find it it's worth it. I now travel 30 miles to take my car there because I never question the result. Thanks again to the team at Autobahn.

If you own a european car you already know they are not the cheapest to fix. Autobahn is reasonably priced, knowledgeable and did a great job on my BMW X5. We had work done at Autobahn Performance about three years ago on a visit from Illinois to Fort Lauderdale when this March 2025 our sedan was struck on the passenger side by a car that went thru the red light. No injuries luckily, but when the car was inspected at a days notice by Jason, the owner, it was found to have subframe damage. I own multiple vintage cars foreign and domestic from 1960s all the way to early 2000s. I moved to Miami in 2017. I went through four different shops before finding Autobahn Performance a few years ago. These guys actually know cars, real mechanics with proper equipment, old service manuals, resources to get parts and decades of hands on experience. They have a mechanic for every marque of different era cars. I don't remember any issues they could not fix. From electrical to mechanical to coding. Autobahn is the best. After getting a very high estimate from a dealership I knew I had to contact Autobahn. Wow, was I relieved at the lower quote I received. I dropped my car off and they gave me a ride home. Ready even earlier then they promised and they sent a driver to pick me up. The mechanic did a through inspection and my car was kept clean as a whistle. This is kinda my baby she is over 10 years old and almost at 150k I have faith Autobahn will keep her going for a long time. Took my 15 year old Benz (with 120k miles) I bought a month ago to Autobahn for an inspection. They completed the a thorough inspection with a list of items that needed my attention. They went through the list (which to be honest wasn't bad ) with me an highlighted a couple of things that will need addressing. The majority of the things on the list were minor stuff, e.g 2 trim pins missing in the trunk liner, CD player not functioning, Some of the items I was aware of. The biggest item was engine and transmission mounts that needed replacing. The work was done the next day and the cost was what I expected. The car drives so much smoother now. I will be taking my car back to Autobahn because I have confidence in them and they're honest. You find a good business in South Florida, you hang onto them. Five Stars!

A good friend recommended Autobahn Performance because he knew the owner, and told me he is a stand up guy. I have a 10+ year old BMW X5 with approximately 180,000 miles on it. I've had almost no problems since it ran out of warranty, other than regular maintenance. Until more recently. The first minor problem that arose, I took it to Vista BMW, where I was charged almost $500 for about an hours work, no parts needed. After 20 years of doing business with them, this incident caused me to be done. 3 days later a far more serious issue arose, and I took it to Autobahn. Two weeks after that, a steering belt required replacement, when I was stranded on US 1 on a Friday night at 6:00 PM. I cannot say enough good things about Jason, Porter and Don. They came to my rescue, accommodated me beautifully, and perfectly repaired my car at unbelievably reasonable prices. It is clear by the vehicles there, clientele, and years in business, that they know what they're doing. Vista will not get the opportunity to rip me off, again.

Jason, Don , Frank (service technician) & service writers past & present for my repairs over the years, starting 2016, are honest , fair & I've never had an issue w a repair having to be done twice. I've been rebuilding a 2004 GMC from suspension, coolant system, serpentine belt to lights and brake maintenance, differential flush. Ignition coils , ignition key part replacement & more. ( my funny spot is usually during rebuild, I couldn't get it started. At one point, I couldn't get it to shut off; hence new ignition) These guys feel like brothers, I never had. If some maintenance can be done as well but less costly, they sent to Hamill tire. Sincerely grateful to Autobahn. I wouldn't let anyone else touch engine etc. My boss has 8 Porsches & once out of warranty, he takes Porsches there too. Was referred for European service on our Audi. My hood latch has been broke for years now and not one mechanic offered to fix it. Here they did and at a great price and quickly on a return trip. I had a previous repair on air conditioner done in May same symptoms and replaced the compressor for it to only stop working again which leaves me suspect to the previous repair somewhere else of course. I was referred to this shop from another auto repair place because they were not confident, they could find the problem. OMG, Autobahn not only found the problem, but they also fixed everything, and the cost was less than the first estimate from the VW Dealership. I found Autobahn Performance shortly after moving to Fort Lauderdale have been a customer for more than four years. They are by far the best shop I have ever been to anywhere. They do good work, are honest, and explain why something needs to be done. They review their work and the billing in detail when the work is completed. Big thank you to Jason Athenas at Autobahn Performance for all his help. I had a really strange gearshift problem on my 2017 S550 Convertible. He worked hard trying to nail down this problem, answered my emails late at night, made telephone calls trying to help us zero in on the cause. We originally decided on having the Torque converter rebuilt. Then, once vehicle was in the shop, Jason raised concerns about having this done. We all know what PITA it is to remove and replace a transmission. What if the so called rebuild did not solve it? How would we know for sure if they had repaired the faulty component? If it was still faulty afterwards, do we trust they did it right and then go replace the whole transmission as that's all that would be left. It was too many uncertainties, the only way to be sure we eliminated any converter problems was to install one from Mercedes, so thats what we did. Just picked the vehicle up, its driving perfectly. I'd have bet money at the outset on it not being the converter, I've fixed over 30 flood damaged cars now, many with transmission water intrusion and these are the first 2 that I've ever had with this problem. Strange they are both the 9g transmissions, perhaps Mercedes changed someone in the built process to make these more susceptible to water. I highly recommend the guys at Autobahn Performance. Nice to know there are still places that treat you fair and don't nail you to the wall. If you have a Mercedes headache that you cannot pin down and are in central or south Florida, give these guys a call.

These are the GO-TO guys for Sprinter vans with Mercedes engines. They are competent, honest, experienced and helpful. We have a 2008 chassis conversion RV. Let me tell you, this is probably the best independent auto shop I have ever used. I was a certified master auto mechanic until the 80s and have seen all the funny business at close range. Don is one of the sharpest mechanics I have come across, and also the most honest and customer oriented. I had a problem today, for which he could have easily sold me hundreds of dollars of repairs. Instead researched it and then let me know that VW had an extended warranty on that particular item, and directed me to go to them for repairs. I am so impressed.
